Chef Basil, Army Veteran - Giving Back Gala

Lizet Angulo, Honoree

"Never leaving a man or woman behind" is Chef Basil's moto. Vietnam Veteran honored seven people that helped him back to on his feet. After being released from prison (served 13 months), he was determined to help others and 5 years later, he became a Chef and fed 109,693 homeless veterans in 2015.

Alzheimer's Walk - June 10, 2017‚Äč

Ladies TKO sponsored Alzheimer's Walk with Crest View in Apple Valley, CA. Irma Pinon-Gusman, Correspondence Secretary (husband, Freddy G volunteered) and Lizet (President/Founder) and her husband, Chef Basil also volunteered.

We picked up over 150 turkeys and gave them to non profit organizations, college for feed homeless students, battered shelters, low income families, and veterans.

Victorville:  Ladies TKO sponsor the event with New Creations Car Club with candies.  In Old Town Victorville, car clubs across the High Desert gather off of C street and Seventh Street distributing candies to the children in the neighborhood. It is a safe environment and the car clubs decorate their trunk in the Spirit of Halloween/Dia de Los Muertos.  Music is heard and the atmosphere is joyful.

Christmas at the Homeless Shelter - 2018

Victorville, CA -  We were not allowed to take photographs of the residents receiving their gifts to respect their privacy.   We gave gifts for every man, woman and child.  Their Christmas Bags were: blankets, toiletries, extra goodies for the adults. The children were also given toys for their appropriate. ages. We stayed to see Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.  It was such a Blessed Christmas Eve and we will be returning next year.
